I looked for a long while for a small file cabinet on wheels that had TWO same sized drawers for hanging file folders at a reasonable price. Not as easy as you would think. I saw a lot of MDF (engineered wood) file cabinets but according to many reviews, assembly of those types are difficult. This came completely assembled except for the wheels and handles. The screws for the wheels NEEDS to be installed with a power drill. The mini tools they provide will not work. The cabinet holes for those screws are slightly smaller for a reason...so the screw will bite into the metal and not come undone. You need the wheels to be affixed well. So it is tight. As far as the handles go...I would use a regular phillips screw driver and first screw the screws into the handles first to start the grooves inside. Then, unscrew it and then install them. This will make it easier to turn and tighten. This was listed as powder coated. I was surprised to see that the surface has a texture. It is not smooth. It's fine, just unexpected. Also, the metal plates on the front facing drawers where you can put in a descriptor card are a blue colored metal. That was also a surprise. Again, it's ok but I would rather it was silver. The wheels roll fine. There are locks on two front wheels but they really don't work. I do have to hold the cabinet a little when opening a drawer but I don't mind. I needed wheels. The drawers open out wide enough and when I do open them up with a full load of files, the cabinet does not tip over. I'm pleasantly surprised this cabinet is so nice at the price point ($105.67 incl tax). Hopefully, it will last.
