Our nursery is on the smaller side and there is only one wall that doesn’t have a door on it (old house with weird quirks), so finding toy storage that was compact but functional was extremely important. This unit delivers.At 8 mos pregnant, I assembled it myself on a table in 20 minutes. It was so easy. I agree with some of the negative reviews that attaching the back panel with screws is not ideal, so I ditched the screws entirely and used a staple gun instead. Worked like a charm. Alternatively, you could also use wood glue instead of the screws.Is it superior quality? No. Was it unbelievably affordable? Yes. So in that regard, it’s way nicer than I’d expect. Plus once you fill it up with toys and books, you don’t see the metal screw head things and warning labels. And mine came free of paint chips or any flaws.I did end up separately purchasing two of the fabric bins that are designed to go with this unit. I wasn’t too keen on only having solid color options, so I tried to find other bins, but these dimensions are tricky so save yourself time and if you want bins, just buy the ones that go with it. Personally, I love the bins because they hold a lot and hide the clutter. I just wish they came in singles or sets of three since there are three cubbies.
