Thes doorknobs are a great value for the money. I painted my 1970s bathroom cabinets and decided to update the doorknobs. I kept the original brass door hinges on the cabinets and I am happy with how the new doorknobs coordinate with the old hinges. These doorknobs almost glow against the dark espresso color of the cabinets and they look just as nice on my white hallway cabinet. I'm so happy with the way they dress up my old cabinets and I am pleased with the quality and ease of installation. I ended up using some to the long screws that are adjustable in size. They are super easy to cut with a bolt cutter. (They send both the short screws and the longer adjustable ones, one of each for each doorknob).
