Perfect size for a purse or other small personal items. Employees are happy to have a place to keep their stuff and I'm happy their stuff isn't being put in places it doesn't belong.Overall I am satisfied with the quality of this locker. However, It comes with a LOT of packing waste, like metal channel, backerboard, foam and cardboard. I can't put this in my garbage pickup, so its $25 to take to the dump. Putting the sides together was relatively easy and I used a cordless drill, however, none of the pieces are marked and the directions do not identify pieces easily. The shelves all look the same and you have to line them up and study them to figure out two are different. The top shelf has these H tabs they want you to bend out to secure it. You literally need a mirror of some sort to see them once you follow the instructions and have it in place. But even though I found a LIGHT up mirror to see them, I could not get the leverage to push them out, let alone find a tool that would do it. Your fingers are not strong enough to do it either. I had to leave it and know that I can't set anything on top of the locker or the front panel will fall in.When I assembled the lockers everything was aligned and fit well until the very last step. At this point you have to install the top of the locker by screwing two screws into the back and bending tabs into a slot punched in the front panel. Only problem, the slot and the tabs do not align, off by more than 1/2 inch on each side. I had to resort to installing two screws through the top panel in order to secure the front, not cool. Please tell your Chinese assembly plant to fix their tooling.I bought these lockers to replace some old beat up lockers in our warehouse. Overall I am happy with this product so far. Time will tell how they hold up to use so I may update my review if necessary. To explain the star rating I think it is easiest to break down into points of interest.Shipping: 3 Stars – The lockers are packaged in a way that it can be delivered by FedEx instead of costly LTL service. I did not give this it 5 stars because the way it was packaged also resulted in a lot of small dents and several bent flange edges. I was able to knock out most of the damage with a block of wood and a hammer and what I couldn’t wasn’t bad enough to really affect the appearance of the lockers. The worst was actually that locks on 4 of the doors were bent and we had to remove the lock altogether to repair it. It was not difficult for us, but would probably be frustrating to someone who is new to sheet metal or assembly.Design: 5 Stars – This construction design is really clever. You don’t have to use a lot of hardware to put it together. Also, it is designed in such a way that it is much sturdier assembled than you think it will be when you handle the components separately.Appearance/Quality: 4 Stars – I like the overall appearance of these lockers. I ordered the silver and black and all assembled and in place they look really sharp. The only reason I deducted a star here was because some of the paint was flawed. One of pieces you can tell the metal wasn’t clean when it was painted so it has a pitted texture instead of smooth like it should be. It is at the very bottom of the front so unless you get down on your hands and knees and look for it, you can’t really see it anyway. There were also a couple of scratches on side panels. It wasn’t enough for me to return it or request a replacement but it made me a little disappointed.Assembly: 2 Stars – The assembly instructions need a lot of work. There is not enough detail to make this an easy job. We ordered two of these and it took me and another person about 2 hours total to put both of them together. The first one took about 1-3/4 hours and the second took less than 20 minutes. This is absolutely a two person job, particularly when you start to put the front and bottom together. Also, screwing in the top was pretty tricky.Pro Tip: Take the doors off before you assemble the front to the body. It also helps to have them off when installing the inside shelves. In addition to the Phillips screwdriver you will need a flashlight to see the screw holes for the top.Received well packed and no dents of any kind. Took a little time to put together but nothing unexpected. Solid, good quality. Does the job for a small business with a half dozen employees.Purchased to store our yearbook cameras safely in the classroom. We put one camera in each compartment and lock it up. We love them!Good quality at a reasonable priceI used to own an office and school furniture company and have assembled thousands of products over the years. I can tell you this was some of the best packaging I have ever seen. They wrap the perimeter of the parts that are stacked in the shipping box so that the edges do not get crushed in shipping. Brilliant idea!The whole thing went together with only 8 screws but is very strong. Beware, you MUST assemble the product as the instructions say. Do NOT change the order. Read CARFULLY. First one took me 30 minutes. The second one was done in 10 minutes!
